The same five roles as everywhere else on JomLocum: Doctor (GP), Dentist, Nurse, DSA, Clinic Assistant. Which shifts you see depends on the role you registered with, because the feed only shows jobs matching your own category.

JomLocum is completely free for healthcare workers. There are no subscription charges and no hidden fees. Clinics pay for a subscription; you do not.

You can apply to up to 10 jobs per calendar date, and each date has its own quota. Every job accepts a maximum of 20 applicants; once it is full it disappears from the feed. You can only hold one confirmed job per date. If a clinic hires you for a day, your other applications for that same date are withdrawn automatically.

Pay is agreed directly between you and the clinic. JomLocum does not process worker payments. The clinic pays you on the day, or as agreed when you confirm the locum.

A confirmed job can be cancelled from Job History, but only before its start time. Cancelling an upcoming job counts toward a limit of 5 per 30 days. Cancelling on the job day counts as a serious strike (maximum 3 per 30 days, shared with no-shows). Going over either limit suspends applying for 5 days.

You can upload a resume as a PDF up to 5MB. It stays private: only a clinic you have applied to can view it, and only while your application exists.
