What you need
- A valid MAHPC registration or Annual Practising Certificate (APC), uploaded from My Profile and approved before you can apply for jobs.
- Our admin team reviews uploads within 1-2 business days.
- Your certificate image is permanently deleted from our systems immediately after each review, whether approved or rejected. Only the validity date is kept.
- Once the validity date passes, applying is locked until you upload a current certificate and we re-approve it.
- Our review is a good-faith document check. It is not an official verification with the Malaysian Allied Health Professions Council (MAHPC).
How it works
- Create a free account and pick your role.
- Upload your MAHPC certificate from My Profile and wait for approval, usually 1-2 business days.
- Browse jobs on your dashboard, open one to see the date, time, pay rate and location, then tap Apply Now. You can add a short message to the clinic.
- If the clinic hires you, you get a notification and can message them inside the app.
Good to know
- Apply to up to 10 jobs per calendar date.
- Each job caps at 20 applicants, then closes.
- One confirmed job per date. Clashing applications are withdrawn automatically.
- Pay is agreed directly with the clinic. JomLocum does not process worker payments.
- You are signed out automatically after 15 minutes of inactivity.

Do I need to verify my credentials before applying?
Yes. You must upload your MAHPC registration or Annual Practising Certificate (APC) from My Profile and wait for approval before you can apply for any job. Reviews take 1-2 business days. The document image is deleted permanently right after the review; we keep only the validity date, which is shown on your profile to you and to clinics. Our review is a good-faith document check, not an official verification with the Malaysian Allied Health Professions Council (MAHPC).
Which clinics post locum physiotherapist jobs?
Physiotherapy centres and medical clinics. Dental clinics cannot post physiotherapist jobs, and your feed only ever shows physiotherapist shifts.
How is the pay shown for physiotherapist shifts?
The clinic chooses how the rate is quoted when it posts the job: per day, per hour or per session. The job card shows the rate exactly as the clinic set it.
How many locum jobs can I apply for?
You can apply to up to 10 jobs per calendar date, and each date has its own quota. Every job accepts a maximum of 20 applicants; once it is full it disappears from the feed. You can only hold one confirmed job per date. If a clinic hires you for a day, your other applications for that same date are withdrawn automatically.
How does payment work?
Pay is agreed directly between you and the clinic. JomLocum does not process worker payments. The clinic pays you on the day, or as agreed when you confirm the locum.
Can I cancel a job after a clinic confirms me?
A confirmed job can be cancelled from Job History, but only before its start time. Cancelling an upcoming job counts toward a limit of 5 per 30 days. Cancelling on the job day counts as a serious strike (maximum 3 per 30 days, shared with no-shows). Going over either limit suspends applying for 5 days.
Can I attach a resume to my applications?
You can upload a resume as a PDF up to 5MB. It stays private: only a clinic you have applied to can view it, and only while your application exists.
